Can any1 give me info on abeka a beka Algebra 1 Set?
like is it any good 4 some 1 bad @ math and over all is it good?

We use A Beka and I love math. I would not use A Beka if you aren’t good at math. If you get math, it works fine, but it isn’t for people who don’t get math easily unless someone who does is actually teaching it to you. A lot of people I know like Teaching Textbooks. They are supposed to be great for those who don’t get math easily.

Abeka is good, but very academic; it was developed for private schools.
The best way to find out what program will work best for you is to first look at how you learn, and adjust the math curriculum to you; not the other way around.
You can order several demo video’s/DVDs from companies, or view them on line, this will give you an idea of what is out there, and make an informed decision.

I don’t think you typed out the question correctly… If both initial costs are the same (47.98), Plan B will never cost less than Plan A no matter how many miles you drive. If you drive 0 miles the cost will be the same, but any mileage whatsoever means the second plan will always cost more. Usually, these questions have a higher base cost plus smaller per mile cost compared to a lower base cost but a higher per mile cost. My guess is to read the question again because the second plan should have a much lower starting cost… The equation would probably wind up looking like this: (cost for 2 days plan A) + 0.13X = (cost for 2 days plan B) + 0.15X Solve for X.

I used abeka algebra I did not like it. It was too fast for me .(I was in private school) I was weak in math. found saving grace in ACE paces.Pased algebra 1&2 with an A Failed abeka geometry. Good luck.

I wouldnt use A Beka. We use Teachign Textbooks. a little price high, but WAY worth it.
