2. Inspiring/Favorite character day. Any character from a movie or book that inspires a student to do better in life.
3. Favorite occupation day! Have the students dress up as whatever it is that they want to be when they grow up.
4. Favorite sport/jersey day. Have everyone in school wear their favorite team jersey (college, local, professional) for football, soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, etc…
5. Last day of summer vacation at school. Everyone dresses in Hawaiian outfits, complete with lais and grass skirts, and beach music.
6. Sock hop 60’s, disco 70’s, or punk rock 80’s! This one is very popular with the kids next to book/movie character day.
7. Historical day. Have everyone dress as their favorite historical character.
8. School color day.
9. Favorite animal day. Everyone brings a stuffed animal of their choice (so no real animals disturb school). Encourage everyone to get I.D. tags for their “pet” and it takes only .25, .50, or a dollar to “register” them with the school for a fundraiser.
10. Roman Empire day (T-shirt AND shorts required under any togas!) Western Day, etc.
