Anyone have a good idea for a mums pamper evening at our school ?

Have volunteers make decadent desserts. See if you can get manicurists, pedicurists, facialist, masseuses, etc to donate their time and skills and just pay them for the supplies that they need.

I run chocolate tasting events and have been to several fund raising pamper evenings. Here’s a few ideas. Have stalls from: several beauty therapists who will do some beauty treatments on the night; Body Shop At Home representative; Phoenix trading rep (cards, stationery, gift wrap); Stringfellows or Anne Summers rep; hand made jewellery; handbags; Pampered Chef rep; florist; home made cakes; Aloe Vera rep; chocolate. Stall holders will be happy to pay a small amount, eg £5 for a 6 ft table. They could also be asked to provide a raffle prize.

Charge for entry, eg £2.50 to include a glass of wine on arrival. Have music playing. Run a raffle.

They are lovely evenings and I hope you all have a great time and raise lots of money.

Go online and find all natural treatments you can make at home with foods; this will cut down on product costs. Then, you can set up booths/chairs with facial/mani/pedi areas: a watermelon mask, a honey and milk foot soak, etc. Contact the local cosmetology school in your area for students/classes who may want to volunteer for experience. Have some delicous fruit drinks to go with the food/fruit treatments like blueberry smoothies or pomegranate spritzers.

I suggestion that I have is to contact a beauty control consultant in your area. They will be more than willing to come in and pamper the moms, giving them facials, manicures, pedicures, ect… they will explain how they can continue to pamper themselves at home through the use of their products.
