Private school teachers may very well get paid less, but they also can have great perks, like free housing if they live at a boarding school.
Private school teachers don’t have to be certified like public school teachers.
Also, at a private school (especially boarding school), the teachers often wear many hats: coach, student advisor, dorm parent, etc.
