the process of the guy above is right the answers

1 y=(c+b)/a

2 y=b/a -1

3 b/(c-a)=x

4 y=(am-z)/(a+n)

5 sorry dont remember that

PROBLEM 1:

ay – b = c

first add “b” to both sides… like this…

(ay – b) + b = c + b

now combine “like” terms… to get…

ay = c + b

now divide both sides by “a”

(ay)/a = (c + b) / a…. and the “a’s” cancel out on the left side…

y = (c + b) / a

PROBLEM 2:

a(y+1)=b solve for y

a * y + a * 1 = b

ay + a = b

now SUBTRACT “a” from both sides… like this…

(ay + a) – a = b – a

combine “like” terms… to get…

ay = b – a

now divide both sides by “a”

(ay)/a = (b – a) / a…. and the “a’s” cancel out on the left side…

y = (b – a) / a

y = b/a – a/a

y = b/a – 1

PROBLEM 3:

ax+b=cx solve for x

you want to move all the x’s to either the left or right side…

I’m going to move them to the left side…

ax + b = cx

subtract “cx” from both sides… like this…

(ax + b) – cx = cx – cx

combine “like” terms to get…

ax + b – cx = 0

now subtract “b” from both sides… like this…

(ax + b – cx) – b = 0 – b

combine “like” terms… to get…

ax – cx = -b

now factor out x on the left side…. like this…

x(a – c) = -b

now divide both sides by “(a-c)”… like this…

x(a – c) / (a-c) = -b / (a – c)

the (a-c)’s on the left cancel each other out…

and you are left with…

x = – b / (a – c)

PROBLEM 4:

ay + z = am – ny

you want to get all the y’s on one side… I will put them all on the left side…

ay + z = am – ny

add “ny” to both sides…

(ay + z) + ny = (am – ny) + ny

combine like terms…

ay + z + ny = am

subtract “z” from both sides…

(ay + z + ny) – z = am – z

combine like terms…

ay + ny = am – z

factor “y” on left side…

y (a + n) = am – z

divide both sides by (a+n)

y = (am – z) / (a + n)

PROBLEM 5:

0, 2, 3, 6, 7, 1, 9, 4, 5, 8…

They are 1-digit numbers in reversed alphabetical order

Zero, Two, Three, Six, Seven, One, Nine, Four, Five, Eight…

joky
ay-b=c

ay=c+b

y=(c+b)/a

a(y+1)=b

y-1=b/a

y=(b/a)-1

ax+b=cx

ax-cx=-b

x(a-c)=-b

x=-b/(a-c)

ay+z=am-ny

ay+ny=am-z

y(a+n)=am-z

y=(am-z)/(a+n)

i hope can help u larr…another one i also donno..
