to multiply 8 and 88 100ths by 3 10ths:
1. turn 8 and 88 100ths into a top heavy fraction, to do this you multiply 8 by 100 and add 88. you should get the answer of 888 over 100.
2. multiply! (multiply the 2 top values and then the two bottom values)
you should get an answer of 2664 over 1000
