If you haven’t already, you should search for scholarly journals with articles to back up your hypothesis (I’m assuming you’re trying to prove organic food is healthier is your hypothesis). You’ll want to find AT LEAST three articles that either support or disprove your hypothesis. I’d check with your professor to see how many sources they want.

Each paper normally has a multitude of arguments in it, so I’d get note cards and write down details of the argument as well as the article and page number it was found. This helps you keep the paper organized because you can group similar augments together and its all there when you go to start writing. Also, it makes the works cited page easier to do because you’re keeping track of your sources.

Once all the arguments were noted and your research was done, you get to write the paper. I’d start by giving my hypothesis or topic sentence. Normally this is the first sentence, but some writers leave it to be the last sentence in the first paragraph. Your topic sentence should be what you intend to prove, so if your studies showed that organic food was better, you should state that clearly. Then give at least three supporting details. The next paragraphs should then expand your supporting details and the conclusion should be your findings, but without paraphrasing your paper. In my opinion, the conclusion is always the hardest to write, so I wrote it first to get it out of the way.

You need to do some research first.

To prove that it is better or not, you need the proof of how Organic food is grown. Compared to how food is grown using chemicals. In your findings, you need to show the pros & cons of each way that foods are grown. How does each type of food benifit the body or take away from good health. Can a food grown a certin way, stunt your growth, give you a disease, or make you need to take vidimin supliments. Thats what a research paper is. Finding out as much information as you can and solving a problem to make a undisputeable point of view.

I hope this helps. I really need the points. Thank you.

It has been said, “You are what you eat.” This statement may appear to be simply a silly quote; however, within the United States, people are getting more obese. Why? Is there a direct relation between the food choices people make, and obesity? Can organic food be a positive solution to this epidemic?

I should think that you would first need to ask yourself, “Better for what?”

It certainly has proven to be a boone for growers and retailers of the stuff, but if we argue that it increases longevity, we would have to show how that is “better” for an already over-populated planet.
