lab ethics in animals? esp mice HELP!?
we’re gonna mutitalte a number of lab mice… and it’s required for us to kill them in an ethical manner. what’s the ethical way of killing mice? please put your sources. thanks

It’s really a matter of personal opinion. I used to work in a lab where we did experiments on rats and we would have to sacrifice them when our tests were done. I didn’t have the stomach for the job and only lasted a few months, but the most humane way, out of the options I had, was to give them an overdose of Isofluorane (an anesthetic). Sorry, I don’t have any sources, just personal experience.
