district with highest literacy rate in tamilnadu?

Among the districts, Kanniyakumari district has reported the highest literacy rate of 88.11 % while Dharmapuri district accounts for the lowest rate of 59.23%. The four districts of Kanniyakumari (88.11%), Thoothukkudi (81.96%), The Nilgiris (81.44%) and Chennai (80.14%) have recorded very high literacy rates. As such, 14 districts have registered higher literacy rates than the State average. Sixteen districts are below the State average.
