I want to be a dietician/nutritionist. How can I do this?
Is there a training course..or would I have to go to college? And what do I major/minor in?

Most universities will have a 4 year program for this. It’s usually under the Department of Family and Consumer sciences. You can get a degree in General Dietetics and then a Masters in Community nutrition.

hey!! I was once interested of becoming dietician/nutritionist and here is what I know.
In my school, to become a dietician and nutritionist were two different choices. Both careers needed Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science but Nutritionist needed to take more science courses (such as one year of physics and two upper units of science courses) than the dietician. If you majored in any of the nutritional science, my school automatically gave us a chemistry minor. BUT it would be great if you can minor in spanish for future so taht you could deal with wide range of people.
I am sure there might be some community college or technical schools to be a technicians. Unfortunately, I don’t know in this area.
