College money..?
I filled out a FAFSA months ago and because my father makes more than enough money I did not receive a lot for school. I applied for all scholarships/grants I could. I still did not get nearly as much money as I needed.
So I finally talked my dad into co-signing with me on a loan. Something to cover the rest of the cost for my R&B, tuition, living expenses, a computer, books, etc. But the college cut my loan amount in half to what they think I’ll really need.
I still need about $6000 to furnish my dorm, get a computer, all the other things I need. I do not want to ask my father again to help. Does anyone know of a place that I can be assured to get money w/o a co-signer, maybe even one with a low interest rate? I know I may be reaching but I have no idea what to do.
Thanks so much.

Good luck!
Here are some sites I’d recommend:
http://financialaid.com (federal and private loans)
http://finfo.com (get up to four competing offers for loans, no obligation)
Also check with Wells Fargo, they’re known for issuing student loans. Your financial aid office should also be able to help you shop for loans.
