It is an alphabet song to help children learn the letter sounds. It goes…

“Do you know these letter sounds,

do you know these letter sounds?

They will help you learn to read,

they will help you learn to read…

apple, apple, ah ah ah

baby, baby, buh buh buh

cookie, cookie, kuh kuh kuh

dolly, dolly, duh, duh duh

elbow, elbow, eh eh eh

flower, flower, fuh, fuh fuh…

garden

hammer

igloo

jelly

kettle

lion

monkey

necklace

ostrich

pumpkin

quarter

rabbit

scissors

tiger

undershirt

vacuum

window

x-ray

yoyo

zebra, zebra, zzz zzz zzz…”

As you can see, you just repeat the words and then sound out the letter sound of the beginning letter of each word. You sing these in a sing song pattern, which just repeats after singing two letter sounds.

We sing it in school while each pointing to the pictures of these objects, animals, etc. followed by the corresponding letter. It somehow has a great, hypnotizing effect on kids coz they really concentrate, calm down, and tries to sing along. Plus, it is effective in helping them remember the letter sounds.

Good luck and enjoy singing to your son!

It’s possible to invest lots of time and money searching for methods to train your kids how to see and improve their studying skills. Is hard to teach a small kid how to see, and even tempting them to learn is a challenge in itself. Nonetheless it does not need to be that way because you got the aid of this program https://tr.im/nR56U , Children Learning Reading program.

With Children Learning Reading you may train your son or daughter how to separate sounds and separate words into phonemes, a vital point as soon as your kid is merely learning how to spell.

The studying process from Children Learning Reading program allows you for children to see rapidly and properly, from easy phrases to phrases till they understand to learn stories.

If it’s the same song I’m thinking of, it comes from a Kindergarten program called “AlphaTime.”

My son (2 yrs old) loves this song and memorized it. He actually learned the alphabets and their sounds from the website.

Check out this website -> http://www.starfall.com

I’m sure your son would love it too.
