JULIET
Wilt thou be gone? it is not yet near day:
It was the nightingale, and not the lark,
That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear;
Nightly she sings on yon pomegranate-tree:
Believe me, love, it was the nightingale.
This is Act III, Scene V of Romeo and Juliet. R&J have just spent the night as man and wife, and he is getting up to leave town before he is caught and put to death.

I believe the line is from Shakespeare’s “”Romeo and Julliet” spoken by Juliet during the “balcony” scene.
