College Loan Help! It seems like there is no way out! I only have 10 days left!!!?
So I got $19,000 in financial aid. With all of the fees, from dorms to food to health insurance, I still owe about $10,000 per semester. My mom recently got an unfair paycut. She is a single parent and we don’t get child support. My mom had perfect credit until recently ( last few months) and our house is now in foreclosure, but we have a decent chance of selling it and getting it out of that. But we cannot get a loan. We should have applied when her credit is good. I cannot find a cosigner. We have family members who could cosign, but they don’t want to get involved. They just don’t give a s*** honestly. Friends don’t want to either.The school want’s @ least $7000 up front. I have a good chance of getting some $20000 scholarships but EVEN IF I got them I wouldn’t get the $$ for 2 months. Am I screwed? Please tell me where I can get help. Please. I am just scared. My mom didn’t see this coming! Help!

Why not put off school for a semester? You could work during that time, and save up some extra money. That’s what I’m going to have to do….the finances didn’t work out, so I’m going to work and keep saving and start classes when I can affored them. Good luck!
