If your difficulty in searching online is due to browser incompatiblity, slow dial up, or an old computer, then it’s probably a good idea to upgrade and invest in a new one. As a professional home inspector, you will need to use your computer as a tool of the trade, that includes searching for information.
Here is a directory page of many different inspection companies in New Jersey:

According to information on the Kaplan Schools website, and other websites, many of the home inspection courses required by the State of New Jersey are available online.
Here’s a link to the Southern New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Home Inspectors. You can contact them for more information:

National Institute of Building Inspectors is located in Bound Brook, New Jersey

If you really can’t use your computer much in your search, I would look in the phone book, and call vacational schools in your area, and ask for course catalog. Look for schools that teach building trades, and construction skills.

Most home inspectors have many years experience in the construction field. Good luck.
