Vetrinary work?
I am only 15, but i am wondering what class/(es)
would i want to major in. I love animals, and I am interested in Small Vetrinary work(with cats & dogs).
I am also interested in being a Vetrinary Specialist, I am wondering if this includes working to help injured/sick animals that have been rescued.
Any advice would be helpful! thnx. =]

Science and math in high school. Get a job or volunteer at a vet’s office during the summer or do something involving work with animals. Your high school guidance counselor is a great resource for helping you decide what colleges have good pre-vet and vet programs.
In college they will tell you the classes you need to take for the major you select. Consult a good counselor to help guide you. Do major-related internships as much as you can in college.

choose a major in the vetrinary field, and u will be guided as to what classes u must take, early on in college youll take general classes that everyone must do to meet a certain general education requirement. but biology will definatly by part of that.

I’ve wanted to become a vet, so I would recommend taking a lot of science and math. Especially science classes like biology and anatomy. I know at my school the anatomy class dissects things, so that could be helpful.
If you want to make sure that this is what you really want to do, I would suggest shadowing a local vet.

Talk to your guidance counselor at school about classes to take. I know that only so many are admitted to vet school every year, you have to test high to get in.
