can you help me?

Okay i have gone to a regular school all of my life except this last year my junior year i wasnt doing so great!! so after school let out i signed up for life skills because i failed s.s my sophomore year i need a credit for that and my junior year i failed geometry and half a sem of english, so thats 1 1/2 that i need to. so i signed up just for the summer, im workin on geo and english at the same time its takin forever. should i go back to reg school when everyone goes back or should i stay at life skills so i can grad my senior year with all the crdits i needed!! i also get to grad a lil earlier then other kids.. will it affect anything in the future like say if i go to college will they not except me or if i go for a good job?? afta i grad i want to start working the go to college. i want to become a radiologist!! what do you think i should do please help me??

It sounds like you’ll be recieving a diploma either way, but from an alternative school? I’m a bit confused…but if that’s the case, I’ve actually asked about this myself. What I understand is that it’s simply a matter of prestige. You don’t want to come off as the type of person who seeks and likes shortcuts to prospective employers or colleges. For example, you probably can get accepted to a college initially, but if you later decide you want to pursue a higher degree than say, a Bachelor’s, your decision now may be frowned upon. Who knows? Later you may decide to pursue an M.D. even, which is the highest degree of education attainable. Again, choosing to obtain your diploma an alternative way now may not look so good to a committee deciding whether they will admit you to an intensive program later. Considering you want to become a radiologist, I don’t, however, foresee any problems…that’s if you want to be a radiologist all your life. 🙂
