This will probably sound facetious, but the the answer in America tends to be a “Corporate Executive”. All you need is questionable business experience, and a good lawyer to write you a contract that contains a “Golden Parachute”, so you can go to the office for five years, and freeze wages, cut benefits, raid the retirement fund, and enjoy the company jet while you stay on vacation at exotic locations. When you have created so much turmoil that bad “PR” causes stockholder panic, you are fired, and the “Golden Parachute” forces the company to pay you $20 million in severance along with your regular salary of $1.5 million for five years, and you retire at age 40 to your own island in the Caribbean, and wait for one of your “buddies” to offer you a position on another board, where you can start all over again. And don’t worry that you have ripped the American worker off by reduced salary, pension, and health care benefits, and have degraded their quality of life, because, YOU have your fortune made. If you increase cost, decrease productivity, and force the company to “restructure”, laying off workers, and eventually moving “offshore”, to recapture profit, don’t worry, ’cause you are “offshore” too, in your 65 foot yacht, thinking about all the other Corporations that need your expertise.

The best jobs on earth are NOT jobs that have any kind of assured career path leading to them.

Why? Because the best jobs on Earth are probably CEO positions on large, multinational conglomerates. CEOs are paid in the millions of dollars salaried, and typically retain millions or even billions of dollars worth of company stock. CEOs can come from all walks of life.

The only way to get a CEO position is through extensive experience in the field of corporate management, prolific contacts among the powerful, etc. Alternately, you could do like Bill Gates and invent a remarkably popular product, but that’s even rarer than becoming a “normal” CEO who climbed the corporate ladder.

Qualifications considered typical of CEOs of large companies are things like:

1. Decades of experience in managing large corporate business models.

2. Extensive experience in leadership positions such as committee or project lead, Vice President or President of a company branch, etc.

3. Intimate knowledge of the specialties, if any, of the company.

4. Intimate knowledge of how the public perceives the company and its products.

5. A workaholic’s work ethic and unfaltering devotion to the company and shareholders’ profits.

Keep in mind that in order to get a CEO position, you typically must be approved by the shareholders, or at least the controlling shareholders.

Many CEOs have traditional educations in business management. For example, Donald Trump graduated from a prominent American business school. Unsurprisingly, many high ranking officers in corporations have MBAs and JDs. If you don’t know already, an MBA is a Masters in Business Administration and a J.D. is a Juris Doctorate (also called a law degree).

Do not count on a CEO job. It’s not impossible, but it is very, very improbably that even a very well qualified person ever becomes the CEO of his/her company. The positions are just too rare.

u’re still young n have a long way 2 go. list out ur interests n from d subjects tat u’ve taken u can b a doctor, scientist or etc(2 much 2 list down). But u need a degree 2 b having any of tis job. But I think it’s best if u pursue a career as a doctor, as u can help ur country by researching 4 all d medications tat they need. Go n get ur degree in a university tat’s recognise worldwide(u probably need 2 study overseas), as experiences n knowledge will help u out wit d path u take. U’ll feel more fufilled as u’re helping other people 2 get well n u’ll feel d satisfaction when u c d joy on these people faces. it’s a good job n d pay is high(if u work overseas, it’s more higher). Have you checked into the field of Therapy ? It is a good paying job and flexible. So from experience, I say it is one of the best jobs and pays well. It all depends on what you consider a high salary, but an experienced therapist can make up to $100,000 a year. I am speaking of Physicial or Occupational therapist.
