Please help me?

I have done my graduation in Economics major.I appeared for MA part 1 in english literature but failed. My problem is that I have a very hectic schedule and no time to attend guidance classes,I have to rely on self study.I am now thinking of changing into economics but I have heard that even that requires coaching.Keeping my busy schedule in mind, people are advising me to do my MA in History but I have heard that if you do MA in History it has no value.

Is it true that MA in History has no value? What should I do?

P.S.Im into teaching.

Have you spoken to your careers adviser?

I’d have thought if you want to teach history, a Masters in history would be just the ticket!

Check the criteria for teaching at the level you wish to teach at, i.e. primary, secondary or further education and for the subject you wish to teach and take it from there.

You may need a further qualification to go on and teach once you have got your masters degree, so how about considering a masters in education or something like that?

MA in history has little value outside of teaching.

Similarly, MA in Econ has little value unless you want a PhD in Econ.

You should try to rearrange your schedule to get more time, and pick whichever degree you’re more interested in.
