All the science classes possible. Especially the advanced versions of them. Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, etc…. You’ll really have to work hard.

Good luck to you!

You must complete the A-G Requirements, the list should be in the high school college counselor’s office, take the SAT I and II, apply for financial aid, do some community service, get letters of recommendation (basically graduate high school) and then when you go to the college of your choice you have to major in something in the sciences or just complete the courses required by the medical school of your choice.

In high school, you should take as many math and science courses as you can. The high school I attended had a pre-med track, that offered: Pathology, Anatomy &Phys, Med Term, Genetics, Bio, Chem and Physics…, and math courses through AP Calc and Statistics. Also, try to take some courses, such as sociology. If your school offers these type of courses, take advantage of them or try dual enrollment. It also wouldn’t hurt to start volunteering and gaining exerience in health care settings (if your school has a pre-med club, it can most likely help with this). Doing these things will not only help you gain knowledge and skills needed in med school, but also show the colleges you apply to that you have an idea of what you want to pursue and are committed.

Where are you from? In Canada to get into medical school you just need to have 13specific courses finished in an undergradute program of your choice, then write the mcat and go for 4 years of med school. So make sure that you have the highschool courses to get into the undergradute program of your choice and the 13courses. Basically

Chem-30-1

Phy-30-1

First off straight out of High school you won’t be going to medical school. You will go somewhere for Pre-Med or a similar degree. Then after you receive your Bachelors then you can apply for med school.

For students wishing to pursue a career in the health Field they recommend that students take advanced math and science classes in high school

Good Luck!

well high school won’t give you classes for what you really want to study. Chances are you won’t study anything that has to do with the human body except for science and health and it doesnt go for how to take blood. You may want to try a vocational school or a magnet school

There are no specific requirements, but biology, chemistry, and economics can be useful to you. Taking advanced classes and maintaining a good GPA is more important than what courses you take. Good luck.

mainly science… And “Pre-med” at university also has a lot of science…

It is designed to teach you how to think! Rather than let you think you “know”.

If you “think” crop circles are formed by aliens, then pre-med is probably not the best thing you can try for. You can either be a Rosie, of someone who knows what the hell they are talking about……
