John does 9 dishes per min. and bob does 6 per min.
9x + 6x = 810
15x = 810
x = 54 minutes

Find the rate at which each rinses. For example, John’s rate is 810/90=9 dishes/minute. Do the same for Bob. Then, add the two rates together to see how many dishes they can rinse per minute when working together. Then, using the total number of dishes and the combined rinsing rate, you can get the number of minutes it will take them to rise all the dishes when working together. Hint: it will be less than 1 hour.

Your question is confusing. Does John and Bob rinse the entire 810 dishes in the stated time? If so, then John is rinsing 9 plates per minute and Bob rinses 6 per minute. (1 1/2 more time )together they rinse 15 per minute and they finish in 54 minutes.
