When are you supposed to start applying to colleges?
I am going to be a junior this year and am unsure of when I am supposed to strart applying. I saw one answer on here to a previous question that said during junior year, I always thought it was at the begining of senior year, but I could be wrong.

You’re right, beginning of senior year. Most colleges want your junior grades on your transcript. You probably can check with the colleges for their particular application deadlines.

You’re right. Not to worry, you still have one more year. Most early decision deadlines are on Nov 1, and regular universities are on or around January 1 of your senior year. It’s never too early to get your application together or start to come up with ideas for your essays. Now is a good time to come up with a list of colleges you want to attend, and definitely take your SAT, ACT, and subject tests to avoid the rush senior year.

beginning of senior year, but concentrate on your grades this coming year..not applying yet. read upon the colleges your considering and look at their requirements so you’ll know how to prepare your admissons essay (if needed) and what classes to work your hardest in. so don’t worry, til next year.
