Yes, it’s proper English.

Probably not. Unless you mean that you like his car so much that there is some problem associated with liking it so much. If what you really mean is that you like it very much, then don’t use ‘too.’ Spanish speakers will use ‘too’ when they mean ‘very’ because they have one word to cover both meanings, whereas English has two.
