Would it be okay if I called this girl and told them I need mariah?
I studder sometimes and I think the only way to call and tell her parents that ” I need Mariah”.
Is that good or a bad way to ask for her?
and her name is Mariah

well why not get the girl to explain to her parents before you call,then they will understand

Practice saying this:
“Hi. This is (your name). Is Mariah there?”
Take slow deep breaths. Stay calm. Dont think about who’s on the other end, just talk to the phone.

No. It would be more polite to ask, “May I speak to Mariah.” They may even be impressed. If their good people they should be patient with your stuttering. If not, they can jump in a lake and you should still be able to talk to Mariah. Keep your chin up & good luck.

Could it be easy for you to say “Is Mariah home?” That would sound better than saying you need her, especailly to her parents.
