If one of her parents answer the phone do you think it would be okay to say “I want to talk to mariah” is that a good way
because i have a studdering problem but she doesnt know it because i dont studder around her

So you have a studdering problem…that should not be that big of a deal first of all, sure it probably bothers you, everyone has something about themselves that they wish they could change. Second you may want to be honest with her, if for some reason she hears you studder in the future she will wonder why you felt the need to hide it from her. It will make you feel better too not always worrying about if it happens in front of her.

I am a parent of 2 girls. Now 19 and 20. If a boy called my house like that, sorry it would soun rude. You have to greet whoever answers by saying hello first. then Ask to speak to hr, “May I Speak to Mariah please?” Your way sounds demanding. And you dont want to get off to a bad start…right? 😉
