In addition, there are a couple new federal grants – the ACG and the SMART. There are some additional considerations for those, but the main one is you have to be Pell eligible (some of the same for both programs in addition to being eligible for Pell is that you have to be a U.S. citizen and be enrolled in a full-time degree program.
