Business degrees don’t require high levels of math.. Just simple algebra and geometry.. I am a business major and finished all my math the first semester it was simple… Getting a 4 yr business degree guarantees you about 50k a year and if you get your MBA you have endless opportunities.. You’ll be fine with a business degree you can do so much with it.. do good..

Rather than giving up on things because you “don’t like math”, because both of the areas you are talking about do require math, reprogram yourself about the math. I was just talking with an old friend of mine from high school (we graduated 36 years ago), and we talked about how much our high school math teachers, who were terrible, had messed us up. We both wished we had had a stronger background; it would have been greatly preferable to not knowing or, in my case, struggling through calculus at 30 because I needed it for grad school.

So assume that a big part of your problem with math in high school was the way it was taught, and resolve to approach it differently. Avoidance will only hurt you, and mastering something you thought you couldn’t do will feel incredibly good. Go for what interests you and know that there will be some courses along the way which are required and which you either don’t particularly like or which you find difficult. That’s the way life is, and you can’t run from your weaknesses; you need to face and overcome them.

It depends on where you go.

I went to UNC’s school of business which is in the top 5 undergraduate programs.

It was VERY math intensive.

The best advice is to call the college you want to attend and ask them to send you a course catalogue with all the requirements for each major.

Math is an integral part of life. I speculate your aversion could be easily overcome with familiarity and awareness of practical applications. It’s a tool the value of which can’t be overstated.
