Why won’t people admit that there are things that they will never know.Religion is a just one effort to answer
what cannot be answered. Instead of having many religions each trying in a different way to answer questions to which we will never know the answers (at least not in this life), why don’t we just admit that we don’t know. That, incidentally, is the one area where an intelligent atheist and an intelligent Christian could find common ground. Admit you don’t know.
(And now will come the answers from people who will insist that they do know. Some people can’t even be honest with themselves!)

Human psychology will try to create an answer to unknown things. Even since the dawn of mankind, people have been assuming things, such as the Earth is flat, and the sun revolves around the Earth (all not true). It is true, we do not know, but people resort to their beliefs.
