Why is “To Kill A Mockingbird” a recommended novel to read? I mean, the “Movie version” didnt intrest me much.
After I watched the movie I wasn’t interested to read the novel anymore. And some parts of the movie makes me sleepy…
Was the book version better?
In what way?

The book was better but I personally wasn’t interested much in the book either. It was good when I read it in tenth grade and my classmates loved it. I can see why it is a classic but I didn’t find it to be as great as some of the other classics I have read.

i read that novel for school and thought it was pretty good. but then i also liked the movie. the novel develops alot of the characters more and i think it was a wonderful depth to it. it makes a lot of statements about prejudice and tolerance that are still relevant today. give it a go!

Book is better, the book is ALWAYS better, the movies are ok, but I found them boring. But the literature is much better. Even though I dont like that genre of book.
