Why is Middle School the most difficult part of the educational system?

Middle School was easy.

I think it needs to be more challenging.

Middle School years is the interval of time of when children are just starting to flex their adolescent wings. They become confused, conflicted, and angsty. Peer pressure becomes fully potent while the pressures of schoolwork and social acceptance put strains on a poor 13 year-old kid’s brain. Homework suddenly becomes difficult to finish and people suddenly become difficult to befriend. This is also the time when kids can be most cruel, because they know but don’t understand. If you become the butt of a joke, good luck getting through middle school. and if you’re the initiator of the joke, good luck dealing with the guilt afterwards.

In Middle School you start to shift from memorizing and manipulating (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing are “manipulating”) to concepts and reasoning. That comes as a shock to many.

i’m in gr 8 and it sucks from me beacus i spaz a lot a kids make fun of me it sucks. The work is simpal in alberta

i didnt think it was.

i thought it was easy.

i didnt like the school

work but i was good at it.

people interpret things in

different ways maybe its just that.

but i thought it was more of the easier

things for me.

It is a time of transition from a child to an adult.
