Knowing how to manage people is the best way to get the job done. Have you ever had a teach that was hard, but you did every assignment? What motivated you?
Now think about a teacher that could stand on their head and you would find it boring. Did you do a good job in that class?
Management styles are like the teachers you have had.
Some have the needed people skills to explain, train and motivate.
Other managers, order, disrespect, and think of ways to upset people.
Read books by: Drucker, Blanchard, and Steve Covey, all three explain the different types of management styles.
Next, writed down how each writer changed a thouhgt or the style of management you would want to use.
You will probably find out in the future, that most people promoted to manager are good workers not good managers.
