Why does school have to be so long every day? Why can’t we?
Instead of building schools all the time, we could just have
larger schools to begin with, and we could have
city activity centers for parents that work all day, which is most people.
In other words, have the DISD school, teaching 3 MEANINGFUL classes a day, and save all this useless study hall and extra cariculum BS for the activity centers, which would run from 1:00 – 7:00 pm.
You would still have football and cheerleading, it would just be
EXAMPLE: Yellowjacket football team
REPRESENTING: The DISD ACTIVITY CENTER
(rather than the actual school)
YELLOW JACKET CHEERLEADERS
Representing: THE YELLOW JACKET ACTIVITY CENTER
It would still be part of the DISD or whatever district

As was mentioned by another person, if you lived in Europe, not only could you be going to school on Saturdays but also year round. Many foreign educational systems require students to spend MANY, MANY, MANY hours in the classroom as opposed to our American system. If you’re a teenager in America, you should consider yourself lucky to have to adhere to our country’s and states’ guidelines— you get off pretty easy in my opinion.
Just go to school we have all done it, now it is your turn. Your school days will be the easiest of your life. Just wait til you have to have a real job and make money, for a real family and have real kids, who do not appreciate what you sacrificed for them.
Maybe you need to take some more interesting, harder classes.
