Gee Berta, some people can spell with little error and some just don’t have that ability. The same with math, science, history, and so on. We as humans retain some things and not others. It is not necessary explainable. We don’t know everything nor will we ever. Just accentuate what you can retain and help other’s to do the same.

Some truly can’t spell, some can’t type, and some are kids or just young at heart, who think it’s kewl to use
