why are high school athletes treated different?

Some schools do give athletes preferential treatment but there are plenty that don’t. My son practices football year round, weighlifting in the morning practice after school plus games and he is still expected to turn in his homework on time doesn’t matter if he didn’t get home from an away game until midnight.

Differently. Preferential.

you will understand that if you are an athlete yourself. they do represent the school and adds an inch glory to the institution when they give their minds and heart to win games.

Because they are better people.
