It’s either 0 or 3. 1 can became a possibility because of an intersection vertically or horizontally formation. 2 is an automatic intersection both ways. 0&3 are not really intersections unless you follow a saying: All squares are rectangles, but all rectangles are not squares.

um, if i understand your question correctly…the answer would be 3points. A line could not intersect a rectangle at more than two points.
