What part of Louisiana are you in? If you are in or around the New Orleans, Lafayette, Shreveport, Monroe or Hammond areas there are major universities in these cities. Many of the college students would jump at the opportunity to make some extra money by tutoring. Check out the local university, college or community college near you to help find a tutor. Most colleges will be starting about mid-August.

Don’t restrict yourself to Louisiana. Try online tutoring. Then you can have a worldwide choice of tutors. And its cheaper than hiring an “in-person” tutor.
