where can i buy BRANDED NEW laptop for college on student discount? please tell the cheapest place to but it?

Apple is offering a back to school deal with their education discount for Mac laptops. At the moment it includes a free (up to $100) printer and an iPod nano also free. Mail-in rebate for the printer and iPod (and I think the offer is only good in the US. . . sorry if you are elsewhere). Do NOT throw away the boxes until you cut the UPC codes off because otherwise it is a major hassle to get the mail-in rebate.

Their laptops are a bit pricier but not so much when you consider what comes installed on them and how reliable they are. You get a lot of power for the cost. And you pull it out of the box, plug it in and start working.

First check your school’s tech requirements for a laptop (don’t fall for student discounted laptops, etc through your school however, shop around) also try CNET.com, they are great for reviews and will get you the best deal.
