When is the best time to shop for school supplies?
I know things are on sale now, but from previous years I remember them going on sale even more. Does anyone know the dates of the best time to shop for school supplies? Is it better to shop at WAlmart or Staples? Which has better deals with better quality/longer lasting?

I’ve always found that the best days are the same week the school lists come out. Walmart is fine for paper, pencils, markers, colored pencils, erasers, scissors, things of that nature, but Staples always has better quality, meaning…more durability and longevity when it comes to backpacks and book bags.

i end up getting stuff from both staples and wal mart
my school startts sept. 5, i dont do my shopping untill like the 3rd week of august. more sales then i think. i end up shopping at both stores. staples always has good deals on notebooks and stuff.

Late August. And it depends on the item for which store you should sthop at. Wal-mart is cheaper than staples.

wally world(wal-mart) now for papers and supplies 10 cents for a notebook thats good and other cheap stuff such as glue pencils and folders. u want get it this cheap at family $. for clothes i wait until no tax weekend school doesnt start until late aug.
