When are high school student council presidents elected in the US?
I’d just like to know when does the election for president take place, how it’s normally done, and what grade is the president. Thanks.

It depends on the school, however almost all schools have senior presidents, for only seniors can run. Juniors can be vice president, sophmores and freshmen can be treasurer and secretary. Normally a week into school, the homeroom picks two representative who will be on student council no matter what even if they dont win a position in the election, they still have to report to the student council meeting and contribute and then fill their homeroom in on what is going on in school, where as the members of office (pres, v.p., etc) control the student government. Within 3 weeks of picking representative flyers are posted, and some schools have the candidates prepare a speech to be broadcast on the schools morning news. You vote for one person for each position and turn in your ballots, usually voting takes place in the homeroom and the teacher delivers the ballots to the office or to a group of staff or PTA (parent-teacher association) members to count the votes. The next day the results are broadcasted on the announcements.

At my school, there is a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and 6 representitives for each class (freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior). There is also the Student body president (who is always a senior), the student body vice president (who is always a junior), and the student body treasurer ans secretary (who are either a junior or senior). The elecitons for sophomore, junior, senior, and student body officers thake place during the last week of school of the previous year. The freshman elections usually take place during the first month of the school year.

Every school is different, but it’s normally toward the first few weeks of the school year. The kids decide they want to run, put posters up, maybe make a couple speeches, and then the class votes. Normally, it would be a senior.
However, since every school is different, this isn’t the way it is in every school 🙂

The GPA ought to wreck, yet won’t disqualify you. have you ever on your existence carried out an unlawful drug, even with being caught or no longer? that ought to disqualifty you. I knew somebody with a history degree that even have been given in, so which you’re able to do it. stable success.
