Whats so good about going to Harvard or some really good college?
I got a near perfect score on my SAT but no one ever told me where or how to apply and I only aplied to two placs and ended up going to an almost a below average school. They’re giving me good money to go but if you ar smart does it really matter where you go. Most of the richest people in the country aren’t from Ivy League Schools.

I think this all depends on what you want to do. Some colleges are known for certain programs. Obviously there is a huge difference between Harvard and UC Santa Cruz. That is not to say that UC Santa Cruz is not a great school, but its like comparing cheese and fruit…two totally different things. I can’t believe that with an almost perfect SAT not one person at school didnt help you, that is crazy. If you are such an amazing student and you think you are going to a lousy school, you can always transfer…if you got a scholarship and that is the reason you are going there and you can’t afford the ivy league schools or they didnt offer you money, then that is a different matter all together. Yes it matters…but you also need to take into consideration what you are studying…if its Business then Oh yeah and most likely you will have to get a masters and that is what matters alot. If you are studying something like pre med or chemistry then yes, having gone to John Hopkins would be better than something like Iowa State…so it all depends what your plan is for the future and what career you want to pursue.

Its all just reputation. And you’re wrong about the richest people. A lot of them went to Ivy League schools.
