It depends on the job you are applying for. The most important thing is to focus on whatever you were best at.

The extra curricular activities you participated in high school are important to display as they show you had an interest in learning beyond what was displayed on your time-table.As far as listing a lot of jobs you have had is not necassarily a positive move because even though you have varied experience in the workplace which is a positive, moving around a lot in jobs is often looked upon as someone whom is either not interested in long term employment or has difficulty in staying in the one position for too long. The best advice I can offer you is take the best from both you have to have to offer, include your extra-curricular activites for the reason I stated above and then choose what you think is appropriate to add to resume in gerards to the jobs you have worked in and which experience you have gained from those previous jobs that will be useful in the position you are seeking to fill now.All the best with your job hunting efforts and I hope the position you eventually fill is satsfying and well paid………………………………..

Resumes should contain the following….

List your contact information.

After that – list all of your employment – in the order of most recent first. Start sentences with “action words” (i.e. Reduced overhead by 19%. or – Implemented a marketing plan for women’s jeans, which resulted in a 5% increase in sales for the quarter.)

Use bullets wherever you can – it’s much easier for the hiring managers to look through a resume that’s formatted well.

Clubs, interests – etc. should be in ONE paragraph at the bottom. They are not nearly as important to the employers as the jobs you’ve held.

If you have questions – I’m happy to help – just e-mail me.

Good luck!

It depends on the Job that you are applying for, but if i had to say anything, it would be to list more school activities. It is important to be honest on your Resume, but you may only want to list your three most recent positions. By listing several jobs, depending on your age, it can appear that you are not dedicated, and not a loyal employee. If you think about it from and employer’s point of view, would you rather employ someone who floats from job to job every month, or is involved in school and community service?

Relevant jobs to the work you are applying to are the most important. I would say that you should definately list some extracirricular activities on your resume though, as it gives a good indicator of your personality profile. My advice is to put as many jobs on your resume as possible that still leaves you to put say 5-10 lines about your extracirricular stuff.

Cheers

Whatever is more relevant for the job you’re applying for.

If you had a lot of jobs where you only stayed for a short time you should think twice before including them on your resume. It might make it seems like you won’t stay with your new job for long either.

The best resume is concise, detailing your work experience, but not to the extreme. Use bullet points to highlight your responsibilities in past jobs, and use action words wherever you can, such as “created”, “leveraged”, “developed” etc….

List extracurriculars last, but not too many. Clubs, etc… are good, but you don’t have to list the choir, or ski club.

Depends on how relevant your extracurricular activities and past job experience are to the position you are applying for. Always focus on how your background, regardless of whether it was a paid job or not, fits their needs.

Jobs.

Extracurricular stuff is fine, but work experience is more important.

Keep in mind, too many jobs give the impression that you can’t hold one. It is better to leave out a job you did for 2 weeks.

Actually both are equally important. A possible employer likes to see a well rounded person.
