Whats a good and thorough list of school supplies for high school- Be specific?

1. Several spiral-bound theme books-one for each subject

2. College-ruled loose-leaf paper

3. Binder

4. 3×5 index cards

5. pens and pencils

6. Ruler, compass, protractor

7. Calculator

8. Graph paper

9. A good pocket dictionary

10. Backpack or bookbag

11. Hi-lighters in various colors

If you know what classes you will be taking, there may be more specific supplies you will need. Art supplies come to mind. These are generally the basics you need to begin.

At Walmart, when you walk in the door, they have a stand with school supply lists. You can pick a list for your school and grade and it will tell you exactly what you need.

If they don’t have that where you live then just call your school and ask them for a list of everything you need. Different schools make you get different things.

If you live where there’s a Walmart, you can get a high school suggested supply list. That means it’s a list with needed supplies.

You won’t need a ton of stuff. Here’s a list of what I would get:

Backpack

Mechanical Pencils + extra lead

A couple of ballpoint pens

Graphing calculator (if you can afford it… but if you’re just entering high school, odds are you won’t need it yet and you can get a normal one)

College ruled notebook paper

Ruler

A couple of spiral notebooks

Binder (I prefer the expandable ones that don’t have rings, so you can just drop stuff in and find it according to date, or when you put it in there)

I think those would be the basics… anything else you need, your teachers will tell you to get. Hope I helped out!
