What was Captain Beatty’s relationship with Guy Montag in then novel Fahrenheit 451?

Wow, that book was pretty good. I don’t know what the other people were thinking. Maybe they weren’t thinking. A book usually “sucks” if you just read it and don’t analyze and understand the underlying meaning of things.

As for the main question, it is not hard at all. Just read the book! The two were close at first, but then grew apart and became hostile towards each other for a certain reason.

I don’t agree with the previous answer I read on here. I do think you should read the book! Failing that, “google” the title with the words theme, synopsis, characters, or similar terms. When asked questions about relationships, you should be familiar with the terms protagonist and antagonist–are you?
