what topic should i pick for my report using microsoft powerpoint?

In order to decide what topic you could pick for your report it would be helpful to know what subject you are doing the report for. Because you mentioned Robotics I might assume the subject is science. What level science class is it? Is it general science-earth science etc., chemistry or biology.

Here are some questions to ask yourself:

1. What interests me? If you are interested in Robotics, research it and find out more. If Robotics is the last thing you want to talk about, don’t choose it. Make a list of things that pop into your head (brainstorming). Then choose three that sound really interesting. Google them for info and then choose one.

2. Who is my audience? (Am I doing this for a class project or a science fair? Is this for my classmates to learn something or am I trying to teach a younger or older person?)

3. Does that person already know something about my subject or am I teaching them the basics of the subject?

4. What was the objective or purpose of the report? (Besides my teacher is making me do it.) For example, if this is a school assignment (and I am assuming it probably is) are you supposed to be demonstrating your ability to “make a powerpoint presentation” or are you supposed to be “demonstrating some expertise in a subject”? (You can accomplish both of these objectives but you need to know which one should be a stronger focus).
