What should I major in?

Be a good patient; get a second opinion. Write to a veterinary program; tell them you’re interested and want more information. No commitments, just intelligence gathering. Colleges deal with this sort of query all the time.
But you say you think about landscape designing etc. Well, do some more intelligence work – find yourself a designer, someone in fashion, … Set up an appointment over coffee or lunch. (It’s money well spent.) Have some questions ready, let them talk. Take notes.
After each interview, chew on the experience for a moment. Be with yourself then. Go over it in your mind, see if it still tugs at you. Maybe it will…then again, maybe not. If the glamor rubbed off during the talk, admit it. You’ll know yourself a little better for it, and that can’t be bad.
And of course, if you find yourself hooked – well, congratulations.
For example: Im taking the general classes for health science, I want to major in Surgical technology, but if I decide that sur. tech isnt what I want to do then I could always major in nursing or radiology tech or any of the health majors because most of all the general classes are the same.
So you should decide on health science or computers or whatever. The most helpful thing you probably could do is go to your local college and pick up a student catalog/handbook. It should be free. Itll have all the programs in there with lists of the classes that you need to take.
I know how you feel by the way. I just got my GED this last Feb. and Im starting school this fall which is just a few weeks away. My first major was Medical Administrative Assistant but Ive already changed it to Surgical Tech. So no matter what you pick now you will probably change it.
You could also see what classes computer majors and health majors (assuming those2 are what you narrow it down to) have in common probably english, math, and a computer class. You can start from there.
Good luck!
Think about doing the same job for 30-40 years.
Do you think you can do it for that long a stretch?
Will you still enjoy it, or will you hate it?
