what should i bring to college orientation?

Drugs, Condoms, and probably one of those morning after pills.

Probably not, but there’s a chance that your school actually welcomes parents and has an orientation for them too — so call the school office and ask. If you want to bring your mom or dad along, just do it and don’t be too preoccupied with what others think. As I’ve gotten older I’ve learned that most of that worrying I did as a young person about what people would think of my family was a waste of time. You and your parents may remember 5 years from now if you took them to the orientation, but nobody else at your school will care. So do what you want to do if it’s your choice to make, but call the school just in case because they may tell you flatly that they don’t have enough space to accomodate parents or that, yes, absolutely, parents are encouraged to attend.

I would bring a notebook and pens to take notes, any material that you have been researching about courses/majors, and have a lot of questions ready about college life. Every college is different, so If you ask about dorm life, classes, professors, commuting, places to eat…everything you can possibly thing of, you will get a better idea of campus life, where to go, what to do, things like that. I would also make sure to research groups on campus to see if joining one would benefit you. Good luck!

unless you plan on participating in highly…promiscuous..activities – then bring the above.

other than that – just bring all of your stuff since you will be moving into your dorm room. bring a positive attitude, an open mind, and your best interactive skills – you’re gonna meet A TON of people! A pen and notepad might be a good idea since you’re also going to be bombarded with information. good luck!

because one the Orientation day. they will give you a pen, and a notepad.

You don’t need to bring anything……you could take notes, but they are going to pass out literature so you really don’t need to…….but if you the type of person who wants to cover all you bases, or you don’t have a good memory, go for it

A notepad to take notes and a writing utensil & any questions you may have.

They usually supply pamphlets, papers, and information.

Just a pen and notebook. Don’t forget to turn off your cell nothing is more embarrassing.
