I was in my 40s when I figured out what I want to be when I grow up. The way I figure it, I got there a little faster than most people I know.

You have plenty of time. Go to college. Take classes that interest you — but also take some practical classes. Something will come to you.

If you like to travel – a good suggestion would be sales/marketing. My sister in law does market research and she is always travelling to different conventions, etc. Las Vegas, Europe, you name it, and she is probably headed there soon.

Community service does not allow for much travel (since you kind of need to be in one community to do service there).

Another job that allows for field work would be journalism/photojournalism. If salary is not an important issue, that may be a good place for you as well.

Just sit down, go over your skills and your desires. Usually, a ton of things pop up when you do that.

And lastly, do not worry, the average person changes professions at least three times in their career.

Good luck.

You sound like a smart girl, and I don’t know you but from hpw you describe yourself, I think you would enjoy translating. A friend of mine does it, she is studying Spanish in college and in January will be studying in Spain for 6 months. Once you’re qualified, you could move to Spain to translate, you could work for the government translating in foreign affairs, you could work as a ‘freelance’ translator, (where you could be called anytime to translate for Spanish victims in hospitals, in accidents, or Spanish people in court cases etc.) It’s an enjoyable and sociable career, it’s not 9-5 and you have more free reign than you would in most jobs, plus you can travel and benefit from helping people.

Hope this helps hunny!!! 🙂

Man Darth, you’re so at the cash with this one. I’ve been seeking to battle this complete do not diss the hip hop struggle for approach too lengthy, and to consider that individuals revel in dramafying this web site ample that they might pass into the hip hop discussion board, simply to be jerks. It’s in order that infantile and dull. I consider they must simply have the final rule to the neighborhood be “Just do not be THAT man.” The track’s content material might not be relevant, however I might say “Jump, Jump” by way of Kriss Kross since the snapshot of a pair fool children dressed in their pants backwards turns out apropos. ***************** It’s the equal over right here Ill Techniques. For each and every well query over right here you have got to skim beyond 20 teeny bopper crap questions (no less than on a nasty day). It’s gotten to the factor wherein I not often appear on the genuine board. Just stick with the questions from my contacts.

I think you should be a travel agent or an airline stewardess (excuse me if I spelled it wrong) My aunt is an airline stewardess and she gets to fly anywhere in the world for free and some of her family members too. And if you wanted to be a travel agent you get to go to 5 star hotels, and rate them for people. Basically “testing” out the hotels/ places in the world.

hmm. . .

if you love travelling (just like me), you can take up a course of tourism in your college. . . so you can be a stewardess or be in a travel agency. . .

since you also would like to help others, you can be a caregiver, nurse, or a teacher in the near future. . . and since you enjoy spanish, maybe the field to be a teacher is also a good idea. . .

well, these are only my ideas. . . and it is still up to you of what you really want in life. . . it’s for you to decide of what is really good for you. . .

don’t stop searching for your own self, your personality. . .

First, I would go to college and see what interest you there. Also, I would research non profit organizations as they can provide you with plenty of travel opportunities as well as helping out communities. Of course, you won’t get paid very well, but that doesn’t seem to be one of your objectives.
