What schools should I look at?

Drop the “I am not a good test taker”stuff; it’s not relevant.
Do you have an idea of what you want to do with your life?; do you have an idea of a major? Your people at your school
can help you get a handle on the basic question of where you apply and go to school. Ask them!
You might check out a community college for starters: gives you breathing room while moving you forward; gives you experience and helps you gain confidence and maturity. The work you do there can be as meaningful and challengning
as you let it.
If you have an idea what you want to study, whether you want to stay nearby, how much you can afford, how competitive you want the school to be, how much social life is important etc. besides your counselors at school, ask around, gather data from your friends, your parents, relatives…..ask people you can reach and touch….and of course consider all the feedback you’ll get from Yahoo.
Your question will begin to break down into bits and pieces answers which you can then turn into an overall strategy for making a decision about college.
