What rank is the US in order of spanish speaking countries?
my spanish teacher said we need to find out where the US ranks in spanish speaking countries. i cant find it anywhere!

Mexico is the top Spanish speaking country (106 million speakers), followed by Colombia (46), Spain (45.5), and Argentina (41), in that order. The US ranks fourth (32 million).

Well first you need to find out what percentage of the United States speaks Spanish. Then compare it to other countries that do. Mexico, Spain, parts of South America.

Actually, I think that this varies so much from state to state that a national rating would be decieving. The highest rating states certainly include CA, FL, NY, TX, and AZ, in no particular order.
Maybe try looking up “Spanish” on wikipedia or somesuch. It might have more info.
