What major should i choose?

I would love to be a nutritionist/dietition when i grow up but they dont make much money but i still want to do somthing along the lines of that, i have to start looking at colleges and picking a major, what would it be? and what other jobs could that major lead to?

I think the success of a nutritionist depends on the area. Your area may be more successful than another, so I would look into that before completely ruling it out. However, you could also think about adding another specialization that correlates with nutrition, such as being a personal trainer. You can make big bucks doing that, plus it goes hand-in-hand with what you really love!

If that is what you want to be, then do so. You don’t want to regret it later – as was my experience with teaching – and go back later to get your degree in what you are really interested in. At least you know what you like & what you want to do. That is the big battle. You can specialize once you become a dietician. My aunt did – she specialized in helping diabetic patients. It is a very rewarding field, and the patients can be so grateful.

u could do that in a doctors office, or do that as a part-time job along with some other interests of urs

Major in that. Then minor in something else that will be a backup plan.

how much you make in that field will depend on the setting you choose and if you want a private practice…
